Lifespace Communities would like to introduce the opportunity to become an Administrative Assistant
at Abbey Delray South, a CCRC community located in Delray Beach, FL . The shift that we are currently seeking is Monday-Friday, Day Shift.
The Administrative Assistant performs a variety of administrative duties to support Admissions and Social Services in our health center.
A few other details about the role:
Answer all incoming calls in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.
Receive all persons who enter the office in a courteous, professional manner, informs, guides, directs or otherwise assists visitors, residents, family members, team members or vendors tactfully and congenially to present the best possible image of the Living Lifespace standards.
Assist with duties associated with in-house meetings, conference and video-conference calls, including ordering meals, meeting room set up, scheduling and calendar coordination.
Assist with special projects as assigned for multiple departments.
Comply with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures.
Obtain knowledge and demonstrate the principles of Living Lifespace, person directed care and successful aging philosophies and their inherent core values of commitment, respect, compassion, dedication, team work and quality.
Team member will support, actively participate and act in accordance with the principles of the Living Lifespace service culture and be familiar with and fluent in the language and service pillars of Living Lifespace.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.
And here’s what you need to apply:
High school diploma or equivalent
Associates degree preferred.
Two to three years of applicable experience.
Certification in Microsoft office applications preferred.
Ability to interact with residents, guests and team members in a professional manner.
Ability to organize time and work flow to meet the demands of the home office, coordinating gathering information from each of the Lifespace Communities.
Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
Discretion, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with complex issues, maintaining confidentiality.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Knowledge of general business office practices.
Expert computer skills which include but not limited to, Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability and willingness to expand this knowledge as needed to support the needs of the business.
Strong proofreading and editing skills for projects, letters, etc.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, vendors and team members.
